  • So since the board has been slow I figured I'd start a cool thread about our bulldogs. The past, the present, and the future.  All of those that are gonna hate pls don't bother this thread isn't for u.  These are the dogs myself and a few others like and work. The concept behind this thread is to show those that don't know what's going on. I'll prolly post it in a few posts. But I plan on posting a lot of pics showing similarities in some of the old and new dogs, some real cool stuff we are doing, I should say Chris. But I have handled most if not all the dogs we are workin with here.  I hope the stouts don't mind if I borrowed a few old pics if so pls do what ya gotta.

Well, almost everyone knows Brock, but Here are a few pics and video. I know most have seen but we are gonna try and keep it all in this thread here. So without further interruption.

    Brock!!

Everyone is familiar with boss, his son rebel was great grand father to the new Brock x onyx pups coming up now. Notice the similarities.  Check out the comparison in the next two pics.
    Here is rebel

    And my new pup Heady

    Pedigree.

I'm excited to show y'all Opal. She and Heady are litter mates. This little female is a spitting image of here daddy Brock when he was her age. She attacks everything in my yard and is packing some serious size to her. She will prolly top out in the mid 80's somewhere I guess. She is gonna make one hell of a catch dog for me after deer season is over. Both pups caught first time out, just as expected. Now I'm just giving them some time to grow up!

Only decent pics, she won't stay still

    Opal and Heady

Video of the girls playing with cur dogs

Plenty more pics to come to show y'all more of what's going on!!!

  • In getting these two pups I was in need of a new catch dog and wanted something to breed back to my old bulldog. I have an ol Dorsey dog named Fatboy. Now he isn't a big dog by the AB standard at 75lbs. But he has been an amazing bulldog for me all around. One of, if not, the best temperament I've ever seen. Caught plenty of hogs and an easy dog to handle. This breeding will be a nice outcross and still stay in that old blood!   I had talked to Chris about what I was looking for and he told me I got the dog for ya. And he was right. She is very similar to him in the temperament and looks, and they get along great!  I couldn't be any happier with her!  Upon some more talking and bartering and plenty of begging he came off the other female Opal.  She is more on the standard AB side looks wise.  If all goes well and she stays alive long enough to breed, we are going to take her to an AB that will remain nameless!?!?!?!?!?

Here are some pics of Fatboy and his pedigree

  • So I went to the Ohio show on the 19th and had the fortune of meeting Chris and his dog Brock. I was totally impressed to say the least. Brock was a very calm dog so much so that I was wondering if he was the same dog I had seen in the videos. You could have this dog working like a beast one minute and then calm and loaded up in a truck the next.

Chris wanted to see what he would do on a sleeve for the first time and he took right to it. Full bites with good control no growling no nothing, so much so the Decoy had to come up afterwards and shake Chris's hand to tell him what a great job Brock did being his first time out and that people pay $1000 to train a dog to do what Brock just does naturally.

Later they entered Brock in the hardest hitting comp and he took 2nd place. his 2nd time ever hitting a sleeve and to top it off Chris had so much confidence in his dog he let me a person who has never been around the dog except for that day handle him for that comp. Over all it was a fun day and I wanted to come one here and give credit where credit is due. I have been around and handled a lot of bulldogs and this dog Brock really stands out to me.

  • Congrats guys.  Sounds like a great bulldog and I would love to see him in action one day!!!!  Good Stuff!!  Tell me a little about his ped on the bottom side.  I know the rebel stuff and Kinghaven topside I've heard about but the CH Ruby Red sounds real intersting and awesome!!  Like to get some general info on that dog or PM me if you like.

  • i dont know nothing about hunting but a few things in protection and Broke  got good natural  abilities for that  he showed a good balance of prey / defense never blinked an eye  at his 1 st training session  , strong bite , very comitted  and fast entries i m sure with a few months of training he could  do very well .... and he  finished 2nd behind Hasta ( one of the best banger out there for those who dont know ) so no shame there  ....... the type of bulldog who can do anything put in front of him  needlees to say i love this dog
